There's a lot been written lately about the dangerous effects of violent video games; how parents buy their children games that are rated for ages above them after the shop has refused to sell it to them. I joined that club yesterday after my daughter tried to purchase Nintendo's 42 All Time Classics for her DS Lite.
Now actually she is twelve but the shop wanted ID which she didn't have so I stepped in and claimed it was for me, a bit embarrassing...
Why this collection of Noughts and Crosses, Hangman, Darts and similar games warrants a 12+ rating I've yet to find out, Strip Poker is definitely not there.
